Why did you choose to intern for Chicago Tube & Iron? I chose to intern at CTI on the recommendation of my dad, Bob Brady. His time at CTI has had a positive impact on his life because of great coworkers and a strong community. I was looking for a workplace with a strong culture and helpful environment for my first internship, and Chicago Tube & Iron provides that.
What do you hope to accomplish during your time here at Chicago Tube & Iron? I hope to gain experience in the business world, how to work with a team in a professional setting and what it’s like to work in IT.
What do you like to do in your free time? In my free time, I enjoy playing hockey, skiing, skateboarding, riding my dirt bike and hiking.
What is your proudest moment so far? My proudest moment so far in my life was completing my Eagle project during the pandemic. After months of organizing, it was a momentous occasion to put my plan into action. I installed a French drain system in the front of my church with assistance from volunteers, friends and family. It felt great to give back to my church and community, especially during such a gloomy time as the pandemic.
