Joseph Brady

IT/Purchasing Intern

  • Why did you choose to intern for Chicago Tube & Iron?
I chose to intern at CTI on the recommendation of my dad, Bob Brady. His time at CTI has had a positive impact on his life because of great coworkers and a strong community. I was looking for a workplace with a strong culture and helpful environment for my first internship, and Chicago Tube & Iron provides that.

  • What do you hope to accomplish during your time here at Chicago Tube & Iron?
I hope to gain experience in the business world, how to work with a team in a professional setting and what it’s like to work in IT.

  • What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy playing hockey, skiing, skateboarding, riding my dirt bike and hiking.

  • What is your proudest moment so far?
My proudest moment so far in my life was completing my Eagle project during the pandemic. After months of organizing, it was a momentous occasion to put my plan into action. I installed a French drain system in the front of my church with assistance from volunteers, friends and family. It felt great to give back to my church and community, especially during such a gloomy time as the pandemic.
