The Southern Division has an outstanding opportunity for a career-oriented individual interested in Production Planning.
The Production Planning Associate is responsible for various administrative and support duties related to maintenance of the daily production schedule. This position assists in implementing daily production schedules, monitors all open orders to ensure timely delivery, alerts Sr. Production Planning Associate of any issues, and works closely with sales to monitor potential late deliveries. The Production Planning Associate is responsible for reviewing incoming orders from outside shops, matching production paperwork to purchase orders, allocating material to orders, pre-noting and shipping direct shipments, entering Stelpro jobs, tracking and expediting direct shipments and outside processing, and data entry and spreadsheet maintenance.
Other duties include handling a variety of administrative and support projects, as assigned. In addition, this position may be cross-trained to handle administrative duties in other departments, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Solid customer service, math, organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Clerical ability required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Stelplan or related system of record a plus
